"Summoned to a Fantasy World and Left to Die" by Shauna Sagaji

Kaliyah just wanted a chill weekend with her friends, but BAM! She’s suddenly summoned to a magical world bursting with dragons, shady royals with secrets, wickedly evil goblins, and one dangerously thirsty man-beast!

Out of nowhere, she’s branded a “Champion,” a hero chosen to save their world.

Sounds epic, right? Only… she’s not having any of it. Things spiral wildly out of control, and Kaliyah finds herself betrayed, abandoned, and one magical sneeze away from life ending tragedy.

Her only goal: Stay alive. Or end it trying.

A dark romantic fantasy with hints of humor!

The Quorum of Kaŝe: Dragontrees and Dragonslayers

The Dragontree of Kaŝe + The Dragonslayers of Kaŝe are a duology about twin sisters, Adaoma and Adaora, and a magical tree that can create portals to other worlds. There's only one problem. You need to be riding a dragon (or carrying a tiny dragon) in order to be able to use the portal.

Dragons have always been sacred to the people living on the secret island-city of Kaŝe, located south of Nigeria, but when a huge dragon and a group of escaped convicted wizards seek to escape Earth they travel to Kaŝe seeking to use the Dragontree Portal...

This Afro-Fantasy / Urban Fantasy was crafted by Charles Moffat for his eldest son and can be found alongside other books at amazon.com/author/moffat. The Quorum of Kaŝe takes place in Moffat's "Alt-Earth", which features an alternative history version of earth that includes Weird Westerns, spies, superheroes, magic and wizards.
