Twelve years have passed since, but the tragedy has not lost its sting, and Isan is determined to avenge them. He suspects the assassin hails from within the icy clutches of Winter, a kingdom that has always wanted to bring Summer to its knees.

Isan is willing to do whatever it takes to get revenge, but he is unprepared for the challenges he will face along the way.

His quest will test his strength - both mental and physical - as he braves the Edgewood, fights battles on snow covered fields, and learns of a curse that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.

How far will Isan's vengeance take him and will he even recognize himself in the mirror when it is all said and done?

"A Goblin's Mind" by J.D. Dresner

Where Magic Fails, Therapy Prevails

Doctor Harlow is methodical. Composed. A trusted mind in a kingdom full of unstable ones. On a remote island far from the crown, Harlow treats the bizarre, the enchanted, and the profoundly unwell—with tea, therapy, and an ironclad refusal to get emotionally involved.

But when a quiet goblin arrives—haunted by invisible friends and stories that don’t quite add up—something begins to crack.

At first, the sessions seem harmless. Eccentric, even amusing. Then people begin to vanish. Details shift. Memories blur. And the threads that hold reality together begin to fray like cheap spell work.

As the island slips further out of sync, Harlow must confront a terrifying possibility: the patients aren’t the ones unraveling.

~

For readers drawn to fractured fairy tales, crumbling uncertainty and psychological spirals wrapped in fantasy, A Goblin’s Mind is an unhinged descent into magical therapy, delusion, and the fine art of losing one’s grip.

"If you like your worlds a bit odd, your humor a bit dry, and your moments of heart snuck in between the jokes, this is worth picking up." —Literary Titan

"Secret Society of Kings, Witches and Spirits" by Farhana Uddin

EXCERPT FROM "Secret Society of Kings, Witches and Spirits" by Farhana Uddin:

In their centuries-spanning marriage, Lana and Lucien had endured their fair share of blessings and curses. But the famous royal duo have never encountered anything quite like this before.

“Lana? Hello! … The line’s a touch scratchy… Are you there?”

“I’m here alright,” Lana spat into the receiver. “I’m standing right next to your body.” She stared down at her husband’s form – youthful, beautiful and unmoving – as she spoke to him on the phone. “Your seemingly dead body… which brings forth the question: Where the bloody hell are you?”

An uneasy little laugh came from the other end as Lucien proceeded to explain his unique supernatural situation.

By the time he finished, Lana’s face was twitching in irritation. “You’re telling me you’re trapped… No, scratch that, someone has trapped you intentionally and indefinitely in the circles of Heaven.”

“The higher circles, but yes,” said Lucien from the other end of his celestial call.

“I swear, this could only ever happen to you.” Lana shut her eyes briefly in irritation. “Ever since we met, you’ve attracted such madness and brought it into our lives on the regular! For once, I wish you’d behave like a normal person. Can’t you ever be normal?!”

“I am a Divinely chosen being with limitless power wedged into a mortal meat-vessel of a body, whose soul was assigned to enter the terrestrial realm for the sole purpose of creating and leading the greatest empire ever known to man. I can turn absolutely nothing and everything into the most precious of gold. I can create electric storms across the realm with one mere thought. I can send bolts of lightning two Kingdoms over and get them to report back to me. If I so please, I can hear a butterfly flapping its wings on the other side of the planet. If I so wish, I can fly straight to the Sun without ever once having to stop on the Moon. … With all that in mind, the answer to your question is a profound, No… No, I can never be normal.”

“All that power and yet you can’t find your way back into your own body?”

A stilted silence stretched between them, until Lucien finally broke out with, “Well, I can’t be expected to do everything by myself now, can I?”

The Queen glared down at her Husband-King’s body. With her realm at risk and her mate trapped in another dimension of time and space, Lana must weave through a secret society of mystical Kings, witches and spirits to get him back. She didn’t know what to expect, but she knew this much: she’d kill whoever did this to her man, and once he was awake, she’d kill him too.

Lana hated the inconvenience of it all. What she hated even more was that she loved him enough to go through with it.

"How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis" by V. Moody

From Book 1:

What if you really were transported to a fantasy world and expected to kill monsters to survive? No special abilities, no OP weapons, no status screen to boost your stats and no cheat mode. Never mind finding the dragon’s treasure or defeating the Demon Lord, you only need to worry about one thing—how to stay alive.

A group of teenagers wake up in a strange, fantastical land with creatures from myth and legend. They are given archaic weapons they don't know how to use and told to do their best.

Convinced it has to be some kind of virtual reality RPG, all the people summoned form parties and set off on their adventures, leaving behind the people nobody wants in their group.

Story of my life, thinks Colin.

'How To Avoid Death On A Daily Basis' is a dark, hilarious fantasy series with 7 volumes.

It looks like a game. It feels like a game. It isn't a game.

THE BOOKS:

Welcome to Fengarad

Welcome to Dargot

Welcome to Monsterland

Welcome to Requbar

Book 2 of Axis Mundi: Fire of Life

The entity disappeared. I looked around helplessly hoping they would appear again.

She has questions. The priestess has questions. Answer. No! Don’t answer.

“Please!” I said, raising my voice. Unlike the entity, my voice didn’t echo. “If you help me we can save the planet from a demon called Raijin! Please!”

The Lord of Thunder. The Abyss. We don’t care. We want to live.

ELVES OF VACARI, BOOKS I to III

Book I - The Wicked Phoenix

In the enchanting realm of Vacari, where humans and elves coexist harmoniously amid the lush landscapes of Goldmoor, an ominous shadow looms. Phoenix Shadowwalker, a warlock of unparalleled darkness, hungers for dominion over the majestic city of Goldmoor, threatening to shatter the tranquility that the reigning King and Queen have worked tirelessly to maintain.

But hope flickers in the hearts of two unlikely champions—Ong, a relentless warrior with an indomitable spirit, and Lady Keisha, whose resolve matches her unwavering determination. Together, they embark on a perilous quest: to unite the disparate races of humans and elves, forging an alliance strong enough to thwart Phoenix's insidious designs.

Yet, their mission takes an even more treacherous turn. To save Vacari from the clutches of darkness, they must call upon the ancient and powerful dragons, who have been absent from the realm for centuries. These mythical beings hold the key to Vacari's salvation.

As destinies intertwine, a tale of valor, unity, and relentless hope unfolds. Will Ong and Keisha's determination be enough to stave off the encroaching shadows, or will Vacari's destiny be forever altered by the wicked Phoenix's malevolence? Only time will reveal the true depths of their courage in this realm of magic and intrigue."

Book II - Shadows Unveiled

In the aftermath of their hard-fought victory, the realm of Vacari thought darkness had been banished forever. Yet, the sinister warlock Phoenix Shadowwalker, believed to be defeated, secretly resurfaces, his power grown to unimaginable heights during his exile. Whispers of his newfound strength circulate, leaving the realm trembling in fear.

Fueled by a burning desire for revenge, Phoenix's malevolent intentions focus on two figures: Ong, the valiant warrior, and Lady Keisha, whose resilience once thwarted his dark ambitions. Blinded by rage and consumed by vengeance, he orchestrates a masterful plan to ensnare them in his clutches.

In a race against time, Ong, Keisha, and their allies must unravel the mysteries surrounding Phoenix's newfound power while confronting their pasts and insecurities. As the clock ticks down, alliances are forged, and battles are fought both on the battlefield and within themselves. Vacari's fate teeters on the edge, and its defenders must rise once more to protect the realm they hold dear.

"Shadows Unveiled" is a gripping fantasy tale of vengeance, redemption, and the enduring strength of unity in the face of darkness. Will Vacari survive this relentless onslaught, or will its light be extinguished forever.

Book III - Vacari's Resurgence: Healing Bonds

In the heart of Vacari, where shadows once wove a sinister ballet, the realm embarks on a subtle metamorphosis. Amidst the ruins of once-majestic cities, Keisha, Ong, and Pumpkin navigate the remnants of a bygone era, where Vacari itself undergoes transformation. Nature's power permeates the land, transforming despair into beauty as solitary flowers push through grief-stricken stone.

Vacari's rivers flow with renewed clarity,   singing a lullaby of redemption. In the sacred realm of E'vahona, Keisha and her companions unite with ancient powers, forging an ethereal alliance between elemental forces and the spirits who once sought solace in Vacari's sanctuary. As dawn's first rays kiss the horizon, a soft melody of rebirth echoes through Vacari.

Keisha embarks on a journey of healing, her scars mirroring the realm's wounds. The trio stands on the precipice of resurgence, inhaling deeply as Vacari promises a new day. Will they uncover the secrets needed to restore Vacari to its former glory, or will darkness threaten to reclaim the realm once more?

"Tales of Another World" by Jeffrey J. Hoy

Morauk, a young man of the Warrior class, accompanies Rastar, a cantankerous and wizened Teacher, or wizard, on a quest to find and destroy the Key of Darkness, one of four magickal devices thought destroyed a thousand years earlier. A great battle between fire and darkness—and two great armies—ensues. Then they encounter Cahnya, a young, mind-reading woman who has been awaiting Morauk all her life. This unforeseen complication does not bode well for Rastar’s mission.

TALES OF ANOTHER WORLD – BOOK TWO

Rastar, Morauk, and Cahnya continue their journey across the mysterious northern continent as the presence of the young woman increases the friction between Warrior and his Teacher. Then comes the discovery of the Fire Gods, grotesque creatures who not only control the Key of Fire, but ride on the backs of dragons! Can the Teacher cobble together enough warring clans of the scattered Lost Tribes to create a unified fighting force to defeat the toad-like ogres? And almost as important, what will their newfound dark-skinned allies think of a white witch who can read their thoughts?

TALES OF ANOTHER WORLD – BOOK THREE

After Rastar is abducted by a massive dragon, Morauk, now called the Blind Sage, and Cahnya, the White Savant, must decide where their path leads them. Do they stay and try to change the violent ways of the Lost Tribes? Or do they resume the Teacher’s mission to seek out and destroy any remaining Keys? Rumors of the Key of Water point them to the far, frozen north. They take only a handful of clansmen with them, but what chance do the two and their small band have against a cold, bitter, dangerous world? And what chance does either have of ever seeing Rastar or their homeland again?
